What You Need to Know
I’ve never been a fan for the ‘About Me’ sections; I have to work too hard at it. I’m a super senior you can say at Farmingdale State College and finishing my bachelor’s degree this coming December. Going to school and being dedicated to get a college degree has been one of the most aggravating things I’ve ever done but has been the most rewarding. I’ve worked hard at it, some days I’ve worked really hard at it but I know it’s the one thing no one can take away from me. Working full time and paying for each semester, really ‘Adulting’, makes it even more amazing because I know it wasn’t just for fun and games. As I recently came back from a study abroad semester in Italy I knew writing this blog is another outlet to reminisce of my studies back in Italy and to give back to someone who’s about to take that experience like I did. People ask what made me want to travel abroad and it wasn’t to learn another language but to learn more about who I am. I’ve always stayed home from college, I never left the east coast and I knew if I didn’t do it now I never would. The experience of study abroad has given me such a new light on what’s really is going on in this world and besides what’s happening in Wantagh, New York. I’m happy who I’ve become not only from this experience but for who I truly am as a hard worker, I will not stop until something is finished. I know listening and experiencing is the best way to learn and not make the same mistakes from people who have taught me and guided me. I may not have a lot to say about me, but I love me. I love who I am, and I hope you see it the same way.
