Traveling Student Style

Rolling on a budget, was the best way to explain myself in Italy for the month. As I worked so hard to save up my money for Italy, I knew when I was there I had to be super carefully with my spending's. As Euros are worth more your already spending more money on EVERYTHING you buy. As this is different for everyone you need to plan your trip, plan your spending and figure out before you go out. Here are some ways I learn to be careful with my money spending skills:

1. Get a currency changing app on your phone.

2. Use cash.

3. Write down psychically all your transactions.

4. Buy locally and cook at home most days.

5. Don't always shop where the tourist are.

6. Find places with student discounts.

7. Book things you are doing before you go.

8. Mark down gifts you want to get people.

9. Walk, Bus, Subways, easier, cheaper than a personal cab.

10. Track your credit card! Lots of hackers trying to steal your money.

It's easy to just buy, buy, buy. You want to bring home gifts for your friends and family but you can't get something big for everyone. Think small because 1. You need to pack it on your luggage as well. 2. I sure enough didn't have money to buy all my friends something. Just don't tell anyone you got anything because you are trying to save. People understand because your a student, and you just went traveling for a month. If they don't get that than you shouldn't be friends with them to start with. Remember, rolling on a budget isn't always a bad thing, sometimes finding the "cheaper" item brings you to a mom-and-pop store or a really awesome cafe, more money in Europe doesn't mean its better.
